Zoviti

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. Who we are

Zoviti operates a peer-to-peer EV charger-sharing marketplace that connects drivers looking to charge with hosts who share their charging points. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Zoviti app or website you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Account: your mobile number (used for OTP sign-in), name, and profile photo if you add one.
  • Vehicle: make, model, variant, battery capacity, and registration number you add.
  • Location: your device location, used to show nearby chargers and to confirm arrival at a booking. Captured only while the app is in use.
  • Charging sessions: start and end battery percentage and the dashboard photos you take to record them (used to calculate energy and to resolve disputes).
  • Payments: wallet top-ups and payouts are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI, or bank credentials.
  • Listings (hosts): charger details, photos, address, availability, and pricing you provide.
  • Device & usage: push notification token, app version, and basic diagnostics.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the service — matching drivers and hosts, managing bookings and charging sessions.
  • To calculate energy used and bill it fairly, including verifying battery-percentage photos (which may be assisted by automated reading).
  • To process wallet top-ups, holds, refunds, and host payouts.
  • To send booking, session, and account notifications.
  • To keep the marketplace safe — preventing fraud and resolving disputes.
  • To provide support and improve the product.

4. How we share your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the service:

  • With the other party to a booking: limited details — e.g. first name, rating, and the charger location once a booking is confirmed — so the session can happen.
  • Payment processing: Razorpay, to handle top-ups and payouts.
  • Authentication & infrastructure: Google Firebase (phone sign-in), Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage), and Expo (push notifications).
  • Legal: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Session photos are retained as billing and dispute evidence. You can delete your account from within the app; some records may be retained where the law requires.

6. Your rights

You can access and update your profile and vehicle details in the app, and delete your account (Profile → Delete account). Account deletion requires that you have no active bookings and no outstanding wallet or earnings balance. For any request, contact us at the address below.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

8. Children

Zoviti is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by updating the date above.

10. Contact
