Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Zoviti app or website, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Zoviti is

Zoviti is a marketplace that connects EV drivers with hostswho share their charging points. Zoviti is not a utility or charging provider — hosts provide the charging. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment between users.

3. Accounts and information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your vehicle details and battery capacity, and for activity on your account. Hosts are responsible for accurate listings, safe and working equipment, and honoring confirmed availability.

4. Bookings, deposit and billing

  • A refundable deposit of ₹100 and an estimated charging amount are held from your wallet when you book.
  • The hold covers charging up to a 95% battery cap; you are billed only for the energy you actually use.
  • Energy is calculated from your start and end battery percentage and your vehicle's battery capacity.
  • The price per unit is the host's rate plus a ₹1 per-unit platform fee. Charging stops/bills at 95%.
  • After the session, the deposit and any unused hold are refunded to your wallet.

5. Cancellations and no-shows

  • Cancel a confirmed booking 2 or more hours before the start time for a full refund.
  • Cancelling within 2 hours forfeits the ₹100 deposit; the rest of the hold is refunded.
  • If you do not show up, the host may report a no-show and the deposit is forfeited.
  • If a host cancels, you receive a full refund.

6. Payments and payouts

Wallet top-ups and host payouts are processed by Razorpay. Host earnings, net of the platform fee, are credited to the host's Zoviti earnings balance and can be withdrawn to a verified UPI or bank account, subject to applicable checks.

7. Ratings and disputes

Drivers and hosts may rate each other and the charger. If something goes wrong, you can report an issue within 24 hours of a completed session. Zoviti will review reported issues and may adjust amounts or take action at its reasonable discretion.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, submit false readings or listings, attempt to defraud other users, or use Zoviti for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or harm other users.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Charging is carried out between drivers and hosts; you use chargers at your own risk and should follow your vehicle and equipment guidance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zoviti is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees we earned on the related booking.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by updating the date above. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
