Delete Your Account
This page explains how to delete your Zoviti account and the personal data associated with it. Zoviti is a peer-to-peer EV charger-sharing app published by Zoviti.
Before you delete
To delete your account, make sure that you have:
- No active or pending bookings — finish or cancel them first.
- A zero wallet balance — spend or withdraw any remaining balance.
- No host earnings left to withdraw — pay them out first.
How to delete your account (in the app)
- Open the Zoviti app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and tap Edit Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete in the dialog.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you cannot access the app, email us at hello@zoviti.ai from your registered email and we will process the request for you.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile — name and profile photo.
- Your sign-in credentials, so the mobile number can no longer be used to log in.
- Your vehicles — make, model, variant, battery capacity, and registration number.
- Your payout details — UPI ID and bank account information.
- Your push-notification token.
If you are a host, your charger listings are deactivated and removed from the map.
What is retained, and for how long
Some records are kept in anonymised form (no longer linked to your profile) because the law requires it and to resolve any future disputes:
- Booking, charging-session, and transaction records, including wallet top-ups and host payouts, are retained as financial and tax records.
These records are kept for up to 8 years to meet Indian tax and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank credentials — those are held by our payment partner, Razorpay.
